A pretend friend, money, New York city, shame, work, and solitude

Perhaps the mind is a pretend friend only.

Money has gestalted work; money used to be the product of excess work (ie. money was effect), now money has become the cause of work.

It is impossible to see the whole because we are merely a fragment. We see from a fragment's point of view. A cell cannot conceive of an organism.

New York city bar owners hire strange characters as anonymous 'club boys' to raise the cultural 'eccentricity' of the bar. This is an interesting deception.

If one is ashamed of shame, can one be free from this?

Work begins as the day becomes too nice to go to work.

On a mountain top you can choose the world, instead of the world choosing you.
