Spiritual scenarios, the ego, gratitude, consciousness, your next incarnation, and geese

The moment you figure it out they will try to switch scenarios on you, and manipulate events to thwart your realisation. I didn’t let them.

The ego must be diaphanous and ever evolving, if the Self behind the self would be conscious spectator to the play.

Gratitude emerges out of the wonder that all is a miracle, and that all is created.

A citizen of the universe.

Were you totally alone, locked in the vacuum of your own consciousness, and left to your own powers and devices- how much of existence could you create? The answer to this, my friend, is why I have found gratitude for the creator.

To say that thoughts are your own is as ludicrous as saying that a television has channels all its own. This is idiotic. A television ‘receives’ channels and transmutes these signals into recognizeable pictures. It is merely an instrument, like the ego.

And like geese in their intrepid migrations, who fly in formation, breaking the chilling winds up front, and taking respite in the rear- like them we must all lead and all follow, and when we follow we must gather back our strength, look around and enjoy the scenery, and when we lead we must put our heads down, look only forward, and ...we must fly.
