IT COMES WHEN IT COMES
It comes when it comes when It ceases to be the difference Between what it never became. When it comes you are done for And done for beyond the sentence of death That the spirit begins In the anguish sublime and incorrigible Where the mold succeeds not Nor the stars nor the people Bound but not held nor Free but not bound When it comes from the spirit That comes from the sky Bound not by the stars Nor the people not held By the stars nor The sky nor The spirit not Bound.
*** These selected fragments are excerpted from unpublished writings by Jack Haas; selections from the notebooks 1990-2005.
