Poem: I rise through the falling

I RISE THROUGH THE FALLING

I rise through the falling,

Down but not downward

That collects and releases

The sea from the wave

Crashing and ebbing

Through what becomes me not

Rising nor falling through

The falling not rising

That pulls at my pushing while

I rise but not higher than

The highness not falling nor

Rising beyond the falling

Not fallen below

The highness not risen beyond

The fallen not low.
