It is important not to confuse tradition with goodness. 'People are beneficiaries and victims of culture' (Aldous Huxley, Island)

Perfection requires imperfection. The universe survives (ie. is perfect) through the homeostasis of its imperfect elements.

There is no subterfuge when shitting.

Problems are not recognizable when they are everyone's.

To change places with another is a lateral shift.

Life is a medium: the form is more important than the content.

Ignorance of the law is not excuse and we never killed gophers with impunity. Innocent bravado fashioned in our weapons and minds. We were cats that must stalk or lose their catness.

We blame lawyers but not frogs. Choice comes from opportunity, anxiety from choice.

The will lies between theory and practice.

Colin Wilson's 'outsiders' are aesthetes of the the absurd.
