Nietzsche, aphorisms, social reconstruction, being human, Aldous Huxley, moksha, and consciousness
*** Nietzsche on aphorisms: It is my ambition to say in ten sentences what everyone else says in a book- what everyone else does not say in a book.
Social reconstruction will never succeed in its intention. Human's can be conditioned, but only to a certain degree. That is a truism. It is the definition of human.
Aldous Huxley, from Moksha: "In a state of wise passiveness we make possible the emergence of forms of consciousness other than the utilitarian consciousness of normal waking life. Useful analytic knowledge about the world is replaced by some kind of biologically inessential but spiritually enlightening aquaintance with the world."
