Marshal Mcluhan, electricity, the soul, religious systems, art, William Blake, and humankind
* "Electricity is the condition we observe when there are certain spatial relationships between things." Marshal McLuhan
The body is a conduit to the soul. A conduit must be used as such to fulfill its purpose. Those that know the proper structure of the person necessary to conduct the soul are the enlightened.
Religious systems become contrived spirituality.
Works of art used to be from inspired minds wishing to convey what they felt. Art is now an occupation which must continually produce more and more of its product, art. Most art is merely entertainment, and is not true art, but merely uninspired work from uninspired minds.
William Blake believed art should be a means, not an end in itself.
Short story theme: a study of humankind written by an anthropologist from another planet.
