Saints, sinners, confidence, art and artist, individualism, and Marshal Mcluhan
* Saints need sinners- a symbiotic relationship.
Thought simulates the world.
To create disbelief, not belief, is to eliminate the limiting factor of confidence, and thus to destroy the overtly-confident adult who is actually screaming inside, and keeping the world at arm's length.
Often the act of photography is more important to the photographer than the product. Just as the act of painting is more important than the art itself. The artist unites with the object and subtly transcends the subject-object split, approaching naked reality, as in Camus' Sisyphus.
Light is form without content.
The mirror has gestalted and increased selfdom.
The tribal man know nothing of privacy nor individualism. (Marshal McLuhan)
