Social support systems, human error, prisoners of time, and evolutionary amoebas
Social support systems make individuals weak.
Mechanical and technological failure are euphemisms for human error.
Having stolen a glance of the clock on the wall. Having condemned myself as a criminal. I sit on death row not knowing the date. But all men like me must hope it is late. For our fate is not death for a regular crime. For we are condemned the prisoners of time. My cell consists of minutes and years. With the past and the future as pressurring peers. I long for the day when the present is all. And no need to glance at the clock on the wall.
The squandering of existence through a social function.
Mentally we are evolutionary amoebas.
We suffer the 'awe' loss, at the fact that there is life at all.
