Avalon: union of spirit and matter, and fine art nude photography excerpted from HER: the sacred naked mother earth, and the divine feminine soul, by Jack Haas
The complete liberation of the flesh- through its unity with the spirit- is not only possible, but inevitable. The confining qualities of dark matter have groaned under their own torpid gravity for too long. And the lofty, rarefied air of the ungrounded heavens have concomitantly become cold and unlivable. The shift is coming. Avalon. You see, only after the spirit has entered the mystic flesh, can the flesh escape to the spirit. Only after the Father enters the Mother, can the little flame be engulfed by the fire. And this means that we do not truly enter the eternal realm until we truly enter the ephemeral, for that is when the type and archetype, the mythos and the mean, the Logos and the Son, are bound at the same diaphanous membrane between all that comes and goes, and all that never changes. That is when we become the emptiness within which all form exists, though first we must become the form within the emptiness, for stillness lies within being. When we become the flesh completely, only then will the flesh become free. To enter into matter, to become matter, is to release the spirit trapped in matter, the Mater, the Mother, which is to know, to honour, and to become Her. Jack Haas[i]
