Book: Poems: the secret: God, heaven, humanity: remembering our divinity: poem
A book excerpt from the Iconoclast Press online library.
It is as if all along you are excluded from a secret of which you happen to also know. This placates nothing, however, because you do not know that what you know is the same as the secret from which you have been excluded. You struggle because you cannot remember what you are trying to remember, even though you have already remembered it; you cannot remember that what you remembered was what you were trying to remember- and so you are doomed, because you will never remember what you have not forgotten.
It is as if you are given the secret knock for heavenís gate. Unfortunately you are not told whether it is the knock for those to be let in, or those to be kept out.
