Oh Lord, oh Lord, I am also why the world is the way it is. I have spread much sorrow upon this earth. I have sown grief without intent to harvest. I have carried the seeds of my discontent and scattered them into the lives of others. I have spent my days abandoning love, irrigating my parched life with other’s tears. Oh, the scars I have irreverently furrowed upon this globe.

Lord, I was a confused and reckless farm‑hand. I am sorry for the hate, the lies, and the worry. Forgive my ingratitude. Guide me to love, and let me not wander. Forgive me for having planted misery into the fallow hearts of others.
