There is all this talk of ‘old souls’. Everyone respects old souls. Everyone wants to be an old soul, which is nothing but a bunch of prideful bunk. For, if you are an old soul it simply means- you are responsible for the mess all around us. What have you been doing all this time? Murdering? Raping? Cursing, preaching, hiding, and all the rest of it? What a heap of pathos you have been dragging hopelessly behind you. You’re it. What is there to be proud of?

Perhaps it is far better to be new. Brand new. Eternally. At every moment.

You can have your false calm and old wisdom. It’s all a romantic lie. The longer you sit on the toilet, the less your own shit stinks.
